One of the great things about belonging to a Cleveland Metro Ski Council ski club is that you have the chance to meet and have fun with skiers from other clubs. Who knows, you might have so much fun, you'll join another ski club or, at the very least, go on other club's trips or events. Hey, it happens!

Just like ski clubs bring skiers together, CMSC brings ski clubs together by hosting several events throughout the year in addition to our trips and race program. Need more info? Click here for a person to contact.

APRIL	Banff Mountain Film Festival April 9 & 10atThe Allen Theater in Cleveland. CMSC and the Fagowees will have an exhibitor's booth to distribute information. April 24, 2010 Detectives, Spies & Private Eyes: The CMSC Race Banquet is so much fun, it's criminal. $40 for open bar, great food, dancing, race awards. 	The Presidents Roundtable brings together CMSC presidents to discuss what is happening in the Council and among member clubs and is held at the CMSC president's discretion.
MAY	The annual Travel Show is held in May each year. It brings tour operators and ski area representatives together with our ski clubs and other ski councils within driving distance of Cleveland to book trips and gather information on future destinations. Every year, ski club decision makers conduct serious business with ski area and travel professionals. Ski club trip leaders and ski industry personnel are invited to contact Paul Webber for information about the show. Save May 8, 2010 on your calendar. The 2010 Cleveland Ski Travel Show will be held at the Marriott - Cleveland Airport on that date. Show hours 11:30am - 2pm Party 2-4 pm Go to Paul's website for more information.
JUNE	Get your club together and join CMSC for a fun filled evening with the Lake Erie Crushers in Avon on Saturday June 26. They are the defending champions in their league. See Flyer
JULY	Saturday, July 24, 2010 Punderson State Park: Another CMSC Metro Cup outing under the belt. The weather co-operated for the most part this year. Only near the end did mother nature decide to put a downpour on the last of the golfers to finish the course. Hi Rise Ski Club successfully defended last year's win, with Continental Ski Club coming in a close second. AUGUST	CMSC's picnic meeting is scheduled for August 5 at The Ottawa Point Reserved Picnic Shelter in the Brecksville Reservation. Grills to be ready by about 6:00. CMSC Queen candidates and the CMSC trips will be announced. Check out the Trips Tab for more information. Ski Club officers and trip chairs are invited to attend. Directions: Take 77 to Miller Road, to Brecksville road North,(left) to Parkview Road (Right just past the VA). Turn left again on Meadows drive and the picnic area drive is on the right. SEPTEMBER	Thursday September 9, 2010 -- Ballroom to Bikini Benefit for adaptive skiers to be held at the Olde River Yacht Club 4900 Whiskey Island Dr., Cleveland, OH 44102. Check out the event Website.
OCTOBER	QUEEN PAGEANT: This year the Queen Pageant will be held in conjunction with Kissing Bridge's CMSC Appreciation night on October 29, 2010 at the Arcade in Cleveland. More information soon.
NOVEMBER	Nov 7, 2009: The 2009 CMSC Ski Queen Pageant was held at Ampol Hall. Congratulations to Becky Bertuzzi as the 2009-2010 Ski Queen and her Court - Lindsey Crookshanks - first runner up and Stacey Bagg - second runner up! DECEMBER	December 29: CMSC's annual Holiday Party returned to Pannini's in Independence December 29. A great time was held by all!.
